Bears roll over the Detroit pussy cats

The Chicago Bears simply outplayed the Detroit Lions in every aspect of the game Sunday winning 38-6 and improving their record to 1-1. The Bears scored on offense, defense, and special teams to humiliate their division foes. This win was amplified by the fact that the Vikings and the Packers lost, launching the Bears in to first place in the NFC central division standings. Although, way to ealry to start preparing for the parade through the streets of Chicago, it is impressive seeing the bears bounce back after the tough loss to the 'skins. Nathan Vasher the second year corner out of Texas had two picks and Brian Urlacher lead the team with 9 tackles and 2 sacks. On offense Thomas Jones is a player of the week canidate with 139 yards and 2 tds. As for my personal feelings Da bears have once again found away for me to get my hopes up for the rest of the 2005 NFL season. Next week the Bears have a tough game at home against the Cincy Bungals. Go Bears!!!
